Arts That Work is very proud to support Kids' Community Dental Clinic, a very worthy non-profit organization that provides low cost dental care for children. On September 25th, Kids' Community Dental Clinic will hold a gala fundraising event at the gorgeous campus of Woodbury University in Burbank, at 7500 Glenoaks Blvd. The festivities begin at 6:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm. The gifted artists from Arts That Work will be on hand to display and sell their incredible work to those lucky enough to attend this party. A portion of every art sale will be donated to Kids' Community Dental Clinic. Admission is $50. The party offers delicious food, fine wine, casino gambling, bingo, and of course, delightful original art from Julie Kornblum, Israel Haros, Terry Guy, Andre Ajibade, Lois Sattler, Janice Eickhorst, Janet E. Dandridge, Todd Griese, Sandro Del Rosario, Sandhra Rosen, Sam Barakat, Maryanne Needham, Cathy Barber, Cindy Rinne and Irene Zaragoza. Come and meet our very special artists and help us support a great cause.

From June 5th through July 3, 2010, Cindy will be displaying her incredibly unique fiber art, blessed with original poetry ingeniously incorporated into the art. This is truly one of a kind artistry from a gifted spirit. The Folk Tree is located at 217 S. Fair Oaks Avenue in beautiful Pasadena, CA. Meet Cindy at the event's opening reception on Saturday, June 5th from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Please help us welcome our newest artist to Arts That Work! Ron Regalado offers magical photography and graphic design melded into incredible artistic achievements. Ron focuses his lens on the surf culture, capturing magnificent scenes of coastal beauty. His series on vintage woodies and beach cars is absolutely incredible!

Ron will be offering his work as several upcoming shows you should check out.

May 16th--The Balboa Island Artwalk is the premier showcase for talented local artists and marks the start of the Island's summer season. The Artwalk will take place
Sunday, May 16th, 2010 from 9am to 5pm along the South Bayfront Promenade of Balboa Island. Admission is free.

June 5th and 6th--Thousand Oaks Art Walk will take place at 225 West Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks, CA. Join Ron and many other talented artists for a lovely weekend of artistic enjoyment.

Fiber Arts Show in Camarillo, CA

Two of Arts That Work's fabulous fiber artists will be displaying their art at the lovely Studio Channel Islands Art Gallery from Friday, April 16th, 2010 until Saturday, May 22nd, 2010. Come and see the incredibly ingenious work of Julie Kornblum and the fiber verse art of Cindy Rinne at 2221 Ventura Blvd., Camarillo, CA. Twenty-three artists will be participating in Fiber 2010 West, displaying and selling their magically creative works. Cindy Rinne's Show!!!

Arts That Work's own fabulous fiber artist and poet, Cindy Rinne, announces her show at The Blue Core Gallery, 558 W. 2nd Street, Unit A, Pomona, CA 91766. Cindy and fellow artist, Penny McElroy, will be displaying their fiber verse art in a show called "Fabric of Life--All Our Relations" from April 10th through the 24th. The opening reception will be April 10th from 6 until 10 p.m.. The closing reception , which will include all the great stuff, music, poetry and art, will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 24th. Cindy's art is truly inspired.
