Reminiscent of days of Victorian sophistication and splendor, this necklace is vintage quality and style. Austrian heart shaped crystals of bronze and gold are artfully arranged on a 14” double stranded chain of pearlized seed bead crystals with gold trim. Garden Glory Necklace in Shades of Rose and Peridot
I think this is my favorite of Cotty’s necklaces. She has melded a variety of shades and shapes of lovely Austrian crystal beads into an artistic symphony of colors and sparkle. The necklace is long, approximately 44”, and every inch is adorned with splendor; semi-precious peridot stones, green heart shaped crystals, triangular pink crystals and lovely floral ceramic beads for a vintage look. Matching earrings are available upon request. This is truly wearable art!
You can tell that this lovely piece was created by an artist, with all its intricacies and variations. Cotty started with a center multi-faceted purple Austrian crystal bead and built the magic from there! Double strands of lovely purples, reds and blues in the radiant seed bead chain are festooned with purple amethyst and rose quartz beads. Rondeles have been carefully placed to add drama and semi-precious garnets complete the look. Matching earrings are also available to make your outfit sing with originality and sophistication.
This lovely jewelry is composed of three strands of iridescent seed beads in the most colorfully artistic palette. The incredible patience and craftsmanship that went into this lovely necklace is really quite remarkable. Cotty has lovingly beaded two strands of glossy black seed beads with sparkling Austrian crystal beads, black rondeles, a gorgeous center crystal teardrop and added gold in just the right places to make this necklace a real stunner. This beautiful adornment was created with the younger wearer in mind. It is shorter than Cotty’s other necklaces, but made with the same loving patience and skill. This bucolic portrayal of Malibu Creek, enlightened by the artist’s keen eye for subtle colors, reveals soft hues of gently swaying trees, lush bushes and inviting water. I love the downstream water’s seeming disappearance into the sun’s reflection, naturally transitioning into the background foliage. The piece is framed. The oil painting measures 30" x 24".
Cotty’s landscapes are renowned for their soft colors and textures, never better exemplified than in this delightful oil on canvas board rendering of a gentle field of California poppies. As the same fair colors bless the imposing background mountains with an unearthly quality, surging heavenward and into the gentle blue of the sky, the austere Joshua Trees stand in stark contrast.
