Dominique Blanchard’s glorious reliefs and masks are a synthesis of both African tribal art and modern abstraction.  Dominique's masterful blending of rich oxidation, reduction glaze and intricate textures are intensified by raku and other low-fired techniques. His greatest source of satisfaction comes from working with the elements of nature: CLAY, WATER, AIR, and FIRE.
